Máma is the Czech (my native tongue) word for mother. Since becoming a máma myself recently, my world has changed in every way possible. It is the most incredible, fulfilling and crazy adventure I could have ever imagined. Everything about me as a person has been shaken and rebuilt from scratch. There truly is nothing that can prepare you for the role of a mother and everything it entails. My respect for other mámas has grown immensely.

And that is what has led me to creating the concept of my own personalised máma shoots. A photo session celebrating the incredible strength and beauty in every máma. Celebrating our beautiful bodies, our connection with our children, our inner lioness energy. Whether you are a mama to be, a new mama, a veteran mama or even a grandmama, this photoshoot is for you. A time spent celebrating you, your child and your love for one another.

I want every máma to feel beautiful, empowered and strong on their journey through motherhood and keep these images forever as proof of those feelings.

The máma shoot comes in two formats – a Standard session and a Maxi session.

Who is this shoot suitable for?

  • Any mama! A grandmama, mama of a teenager, pre-schooler or a toddler. A new mama. A mama-to-be. 

Where can we shoot?

  • As a part of our pre-shoot consultation we will discuss the ideal location that suits your creative idea. Shoots can be located in the wider Auckland area or the Coromandel peninsula.

What do I wear?

  • Anything you feel beautiful and comfortable in. There are a couple of general rules that work best which we will discuss as a part of our pre-shoot consultation.

Can my children come?

  • Yes, of course! When pregnant you can bring your other children as well as just be on your own, whatever suits you.

Can my partner come?

  • Yes, of course! I would recommend joining the shoot towards the end though so you can spend some time in front of the lens by yourself, without distractions.

Can I gift this shoot to my partner / friend / sister?

  • Yes, of course! Online or printed gift vouchers are available! These shoots make a great group baby shower gift (hint hint)!

Can I get my pictures printed?

  • Yes, absolutely, I can arrange discounted prints for you.
