Who are the faces behind Soak Studio?

We are a trio and family that met each other in Prague, Czech Republic. Together, we hatched a plan to build a business providing creative solutions for companies that want to better connect with their customers.

Garth comes from New Zealand and has lived in Prague since 2016. He takes inspiration from his farming history but very much enjoys the hustle and bustle of city life. Educated in marketing and film at Otago University, everything else has been self-taught. Garth is a photographer, copywriter and idea maker. He is creative, independent and diverse in his tastes. It might seem cliche, but he enjoys a good book and a walk on the beach, which is why the Coromandel of New Zealand is so close to his heart.

Petra is an enigma, a surfer from the landlocked country of the Czech Republic. Her free-spirited nature and proactive drive have taken her to work in many countries including Romania, Haiti, UK, India and Bali, where she started her professional journey as a lifestyle and surf photographer. Petra has a lot of experience in marketing and advertising, working as a senior project manager running TV commercials, digital campaigns, content strategies, product launches and events. She has worked with brands such as Red Bull, Mercedes-Benz, Nike, Visa and Ikea. In her spare time she can be found in the forests foraging or practicing hand-poke tattoo skills.

Awhi is the brains behind the whole operation. Well maybe not… but she is definitely the beauty. A lover of chasing rabbits, pulling on ropes and early 20th century avant-garde typography. She has the final say on all Soak studio creative output.
